The final gallery image I made was this one.  had a bit of an issue deciding which version I would put in but ended up choosing the second from the top.  Printed at A2 size on 160 gsm Bond paper.  Came out quite nicely if i do say so myself.

Super Mob

This picture was drawn circa 2001-ish.  I always liked the image but not the inking so it was abandoned like a bastard child.  PS all these characters are originals by me some of which have names and basic stories because I was trying to put together a comic years ago which was also an idea abandoned until recently.

Fast forward 10 years and I dug it out of my olf files to give a bit of a face-lift.  It's a work in progress as I'm still adding in characters as you can see by this...

Just added in the flat colors to get a preview of what is to come.  If it comes out nicely I might print it for the next gallery showing.

IF Influence

This is my entry for Illustration Friday's word of the week 'Influence'. I hope this isn't too obvious an image for this topic but it was the first thing that came into my head.

TMNT Stage 1

So its been a really long time since I have attempted to draw the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and just for the hell of it I drew them yesterday. I did draw them separately but they seem to fit nicely together in one image so I have combined them now. I am going to attampt digital inking and if I fail miserably I will just go back to the olf fashioned way.

I took him outside and spray painted him 2 different shades of green - dark on top and light on the underside.

I added some eyes i got fom a craft shop

Cute aint he??!

And he escaped upon completion!!

Dragon model builiding stages

So I have been building a dragon for uni art class. Every ingredient is kid safe and non-allergenic. You can see the frame to start made of aluminium wire and foam balls...

...a little bit of chicken wire....

...magiclay (paper based clay) for the body...

...and the wings...

...and finally some curtain material for the 'skin' part of the wings. More to come...

IF Imperfect

So Illustration Friday's word of the week is Imperfect. My first thought went straight to somebody who can't read misreading the word. It must be the teacher in me thinking this. And yeah i guess it had to be a vapid self loving person who would misread it in this particular way too.
